Green Cove Springs, FL. - Ronnie Tillman, owner of Rich's Real Pit Bar-B-Q, announced today that his Green Cove Springs eatery in will join Southern Speed and driver Jimmy Britts on the team's Open Wheel Modified, Late Model and NASCAR Goody's Dash cars as an associate sponsor. The team will kick off this weekend's racing action Saturday at Florida Speed Park in St. Augustine, competing in the 50 lap S.A.R.A. modified and the 125 lap Florida Sunbelt Late Model races. Qualifying starts at 6:00 PM followed by the first race of the season for the S.A.R.A Modified and Florida Sunbelt touring series'. Britts was the 1999 Goody's Dash NAPA Filters Rookie of the Year, the 1995 NASCAR Slim Jim All Pro Series Rookie of the Year and the 1996 Florida Pro Series Champion. Jimmy is running the full schedule for the 2000 NASCAR Goody's Dash Series Championship as well as a limited schedule of high profile Modified and Late Model events this season.
